Paralegal

We are currently seeking a paralegal with at least 3 years of patent prosecution experience at a medium to large firm. A bachelor's degree is preferred, but extensive or equal experience may be considered.

Candidates must be familiar with the preparation and filing of a new application, handling formalities, preparing and filing Office Actions, preparing and filing Information Disclosure Statements, handling allowances, paying and filing Issue Fee payment and Maintenance Fees, and other general matters as they may arise. Familiarity and a high level of proficiency with PAIR as well as MS Office Products and PDF Products is required.

Legal Secretary
We are currently seeking a legal secretary with at least 2 years of secretarial experience. Required experience includes: answering inquiries by Email and phones, MS Office Products, researching matters. Candidates will also need to be flexible while handling daily duties. The ability to multi-task and pay attention to details is a must. Although a 4 year degree is preferred, we will consider experience if it is either in the paralegal or secretarial field. We will also consider a certificate of paralegal training from an ABA program in lieu of a bachelor’s degree. This position does require moving files that may weigh up to 10 pounds.
